PEDIC Facilitates MOA Signing

The Province of Negros Occidental facilitated by the Provincial Economic Development and Investment Center, sealed a partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement with the Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. for the implementation of the Rehabilitation Program for Micro Businesses affected by COVID-19 specially focused in providing Financial Assistance to Micro-Businesses that cannot qualify to access loans from Micro-Financing Institutions within the Province.
The MOA signing between PGNO was represented by Hon. Gov. Eugenio Jose V. Lacson and Atty. Rayfrando P. Diaz II – Provincial Administrator, and NWTF represented by Ms. Suzzette Gaston – Executive Director and Ms. Corazon Henares – Co-Founder.
The project aims to save livelihood and jobs by recapitalizing micro businesses, farmers and fishermen; and to provide financial assistance to the informal micro-business. Local Chief Executives together with their respective Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Officer and Livelihood Officers also attended the signing and an Orientation was conducted via Zoom.
